Kumja works most easily with a matching adapter - zip it in, and you're done - you can see how it works in the video below. For each jacket, you usually need one specific adapter.
The clip adapter, on the other hand, fits universally on any jacket. It attaches with 14 clips on the front right and left sides of the jacket. Then you zip in the jacket extension (winter or sun Kumja) in the middle.
The clip adapter is ideal...
- ... if no zipper adapter works with your jacket´s zipper
- ... if you don't want to use our sew-in adapter option
- ... if your favorite jacket only has buttons
- ... if the adapter selection is unclear or too complex, and you want an easy, quick and safe solution without contacting support (e.g., if you're ordering from abroad)
- ... if you have a very long coat with zipper length 90 cm and above (as an alternative to a special adapter)
The two-piece clip adapter has the same soft padding as the Winterkumja. The fluffy small "cushions" securely seal your jacket with a 10 cm overlap. The clip adapter alone makes the jacket about 10 cm wider, and with the jacket extension, about 31 cm.
