Too long?
Since there are so many different jacket styles and lengths, Kumja (the jacket extension panel) is rarely exactly as long as your jacket. In fact, it does not have to be. When babywearing, it is perfectly fine when Kumja covers half of your baby's head. During pregnancy, a gap of 5-10 cm at the top can be closed with a scarf.
However, if there is a larger gap, you can order the special adapter with your desired length.
Panel = 70 cm
The special adapter does not make Kumja longer. It still is the same coat extension with its length of 70 cm (57,5 inch). Instead, a special adapter moves Kumja upwards.
Special adapter = any desired position
We sew the special adapter according to your specifications. This is why it has a slightly higher price and is not refundable. In order to find the right specifications, we recommend to try out a regular adapter first. This way, you can be sure the zippers can be connected (you have to specify the adapter type above). Furthermore, you get an idea about the optimal position.
Delivery times
During winter time, the production of your special adapter can take a little longer. Usually, it only takes one or two working days.
For the most common adapter types we have special adapters with 13cm additional length. In you choose this standard version of a special adapter, you may not determine the height but you can return the product - long coat adapter.
